About The Artist

Roy Nelson grew up as a hard working Wyoming boy. He first picked up a camera as a birthday gift to himself at the age of 19. The work of many great photographers captivated him. He set his goals high by searching for the amazing images made by these professionals and strived to achieve their quality of imaging into his own vision.

Once he realized the financial potential for his work, he aimed to sharpen his craft and better his education. He saved up to attend and graduate from Northwest College. He received an Associates in Applied Sciences Degree in Photographic Communications in 2018 and immediately began to pursue his passions in Salt Lake City, Utah.

What excites Roy the most about photography is the satisfaction that comes from turning a vision into a photographic reality. The entire process from start to finish is not only captivating for him, but also fulfilling!

In the past few years as a working artist, he has had the opportunity to share many volumes of work, yet the greatest joy has been to see the value placed on his passion. Through fine art sales, interviews from prestigious blogs, and paid projects, he has seen great support and further motivation.

As a professional, His goals and standards are being placed higher and higher. Roy has entered the market as a commercial photographer using his talent, vision and passion to provide exceptional imaging content. He knows the hardworking and dedication it takes to achieve dreams, and he vows to work with other business owners to recreate any vision to the highest quality reality.
